Parking in the restaurant lot is a challenge during peak times (i.e. weekend breakfast/brunch). Be prepared to wait for a spot to open. When you find a space, know it will be a tight fit.
Yes, they do.
Open yes, reservation no
sorry you experience that, i would not know the answer to your question. since you were there, you could of ask the waiter or manager why you didnt get them.
Did not know a movie was being shot there
Absolutely
It depends but at least $30
Not sure call them to see if they will be open
Dinner special ends at 10, for some dishes you need to order by 9:50. Comes with either soup or salad
My rating is based on breakfast only because all the times I've been here was to get my day started. Everytime I eat breakfast there are big crowds but still all in all there is not a long wait time. The service is good. Breakfast is hot and fresh. I'm positive lunch would not disappoint me as well.
I come here every other weekend for breakfast and always get the same thing- two eggs sunny side up with whole wheat toast and sausages. Depending on the waiter I get some sort of variation of this, 50% of the time being not exactly what I ordered. Nonetheless, food is decent and booth is comfy. For weekend morning crowd- never sit at the counter. It'll take 15-20 minutes to even have your order taken because the guy who serves the counter also serves other booths and handles take outs.
The waiter served us lost the order and we have to reorder again. No bread or biscuits while we were waiting for our food. Not to mention the restroom were disgusting. Today wasn't t even busy and the order were a mess. They better shape up or risk of losing their customers
Parking needs to be expanded, but if you can find parking, the food is good.
Has always been a pleasure to eat here....kids love the steak fries ...can get pricey but they have decent lunch special deals... a family of 4 can go for $60 avg..parking space...obviously weekends gets crowded...service is attentive and helpful
Excellent food. Service was great! New tradition will be to eat here for Thanksgiving.
Good, miss the old location though.
A little pricey, but worth it overall, ambience is great and the waiters are nice. Bathrooms are very clean. Free parking is convenient. Desserts and breakfast are the best!
Been coming to the Georgia Diner for over 30 years. This was the first time at the new location. Did not disappoint. Responsive wait staff and quick service. Typical diner fare like I remember
I used to go to the old location, and always enjoyed it. My first time at this location. We were very pleased with the service, and the food was very good.
Truly one of the safest , cleanest , quality foods, 24 hour establishments of new York
The setup is nice given the current situation and the service just as fast and maybe even friendlier than when we are inside. Do wish there was a slightly bigger space so the tables could be further apart but was still a nice experience!
Always been one of my favorite diners. Good food, fast service. Crowded on holidays, especially New Year's Day.
While the place has a long history, some of the recent moves it's made is controversial. The food is good but nothing to write home about. Perhaps the most egregious thing that's happened is that no longer offer coffee unlimited on the weekends for breakfast. That is a staple! It's more angering when you realize that they sold the old location for millions of dollars and promptly bought another diner out - so it's hard to imagine the business is really hurting. These pennywise, pound-foolish measures will surely not help them in the end as it might make other diners think twice before returning.
Outdoor breakfast during covid thumbs up
Those that recall know that the original Georgia diner was right across from where the Macy's furniture is by. It moved a couple of blocks down but, the food and service has remained the same. I always ask for a toasted bagel with cheddar cheese, 2 eggs omlette style with fresh turkey and I ask for it as a sandwich because I don't want the turkey in the omlette. It's my favorite dish there.
Even with their move to the new location, they are still great...
Loved loved my food I asked Lena to make my food alittle different my and it came out awesome!!!!want to thank you Lina , i loved Lena best Waitress ever ever
Outdoor seating. As always food and service was great.
Monte Cristo to die for !!!
Absolutely loved this diner! The waitresses were welcoming and attentive. The food and portion size was awesome! This is the place!
Food is delicious. Portions are respectable. Staff is courteous. (Although, depending on your server, you may have to negotiate free refills on soft drinks.) Location is reasonably maintained. Wait times increase exponentially on weekend mornings/afternoons. Parking is limited during these times as well. Open 24 hours.
Who's on the road looking for a quick bite to eat and couldn't decide what to get. The Cure alll for everybody's hunger pangs is always a diner. everybody got what they wanted food was pretty decent and service was excellent. Great diner.
Use to go to the old place. Im glad to see this dinner still lives up to my expectations. Great food. Decent prices. Family friendly. Would recommend.
The diner has used half of its parking lot to convert to an outdoor eating area. There's enough space to safely sit and talk. The only thing would be to have more waiters. It took a while to get our order.
Liked it very much, have to try more food to give it 5 stars but the times I've been there, it's been good. Shame it's going to close soon. See pics.
Nice spot to sit and eat. Very comfortable and warm. Food came quick and was well prepared. Will be back.
ALLWAYS HAVE GREAT FOOD WITH FRIENDS AND ALL THE FAMILIES I TAKE THERE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER AND THEY HAVE PARKING I BEEN GOING TO GEORGIA DINER SINCE IT OPENED. MAYBE 40 YEARS I WENT THERE WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE VERY HAPPY
Lots of parking. Quick seating friendly staff. Food came quickly. Had a club sandwich and spaghetti. Lettuce was wilted buy portions were large. Spaghetti was surprisingly good. A bit pricey. Decent experience.
The Biggest T-bone steak I ever had cannot even finish outstanding taste Best customer service ever I love this place thanks to my best server RACIEL I definitely recommend this place for best T-bone steak 100%
It was my first Time dining at this place and I had a very positive experience!!Enjoyed the Seats and table very comfortable and spacious. Service was good and efficient , my order came in about 8 to 10 minutes after ordering. Food was delicious! Would recommend this place for a quick bite.
I was sad to see the old spot close because it was a first date location with my now wife.Good breakfast spot, great breakfast specials before 11.Some of dinner are pretty good for a dinner. My wife loves their long Island ice tea.
Hard to find a good diner that their food all around taste great, can’t go wrong with breakfast, lunch, dinner or desserts. All around great food
Nice place with ample parking. Would be nice to have more value deals
Good food, well prepared. Many pocket-friendly dishes as well as the special high-end plates; $25 and up. Worth a visit.
The old place was my favorite. Once they moved to this new place, I noticed that the service and the food changed. I frequently visited this diner at the old place but now I am changing my mind about the new location. The staff is not as friendly as they used to. For example, the person that sits you is always grumpy and does not make you feel welcome. The food slightly change flavors, it is like it has been sitting down for a while. The new place is smaller than the old one and Georgia Diner still uses the Nevada diner things. It is like they lost their original brand. On weekends is always packed. It's time to move on.
I used to go here years ago when we lived in NY. So happy to see some things have not changed. Was able to introduce my Southern wife and boys to this amazing place. And the Cheese Cake, well in Southern Terms,,,,It'll make you smack your momma good
Always a great 👍 place to eat.. i understand the outdoors dining Please get better chairs to sit on.
Great food and amazing service. I went with my parents today and they absolutely loved the food and the service was superb the server went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Definitely coming back again soon!
Chicken and waffles is chicken fingers n waffles. Wished that was served with real chicken parts. It's okay though. Hot chocolate is really good. One other time I got salad n it wasn't fresh. Everybody knows a good salad is when all the food is fresh. Most of my salad ingredients were not fresh.
This place has been around forever, between their service and food you'll understand how thats possible.
Good location, great customer service, but I think they had an off day with the food when I last visited where it's usually their strong suit. At their previous location, that was the one true consistent thing that keeps me coming back for more. I'm giving Georgia Diner 3 stars for past performance overall, but I'll be back to see if that one time was a fluke. Let's go Georgia!
This is a staple diner for the neighborhood. Food is great, pricing is good, waiters/waitresses are really quick at responding an attentive. Parking lot is great to have. The only reason for the 4 stars is that sometimes i had went, and it was already really cool outside (weather) and the A/C inside was blasting, so i was cold the entire time. Other than that, not too much to complain about.
Server 5 star, very polite and attentiveChocolate cheesecake 5 star plus! Unbelievable, Italian stile cheesecake with a hint of lemon and chocolate frosting.Burger 3 star to be call jumbo cheeseburger it was pretty ordinary.
I have to say one thing that menu is impressive there is absolutely anything for anyone in there from breakfast to stake and seafood. I had and over all good time the service was great and the desert was wondering but the dish I had was a little watery but even then had great flavor to it and would still order again if I came back.
I am not from the city. This place was easy to find, they have good food, and great service. Compared to upstate's prices, this place was very reasonable and not to expensive. Bonus that they were open super late, I think my group arrived at 1 or 2 in the morning. I will absolutely be stopping in whenever I'm in the area!
Very Family friendly place. Food is always delicious.
Very slow service. Food is good. Outdoor dining
Food is great but the waiter need to pay more attention to the tables and customer needs. They gave is the same dessert twice which was wrong the third it was right. Honest mistake it's all good still had Fab time.
I work mostly evening shifts so when I get out it’s pretty much around midnight so my choice of food becomes limited but do not be disappointed with Georgia Diner definitely one of the best last night food you can have in Queens. I have never been here for breakfast lunch or dinner (I would say there are plenty of better options around for less) but if you need a late night meal and want American food come here. Food quality is not the greatest but definitely better than most of the other diners around with the exception of Court Square Diner in Long Island City but much better than Jax Inn in Woodside. Their staff is pretty friendly too and quick to respond with any questions so if you’re hungry at night stop by.
